By default a SnapCLOUD VM has endpoints that provide the ability to discover the VM over the internet using Snap Server Manager (SSM). To discover the server, add its globally-resolvable DNS name (vmname.cloudapp.net) to SSM's remote server list. If the workstation can connect to the VM's virtual network through a PTS or STS VPN, the server's internal IP address can instead be added to the remote server list. Once discovered, SSM displays storage consumption and various status information about the server. SSM also sees only the server's internal IP address, and subsequent administration can only be performed through the internal IP address through the VM's virtual network.
